Sund. afternoon, July 21st, . . . Or November 17th
Time: 2 to 4:30pm

Spend a Sunday afternoon creating three “uniquely different” mixed media dolls. We provide the inspiration, techniques and materials. Dolls can be richly expressive even in their most basic incarnations. You can express a mood, a message, a wish, a prayer, a fantacy, a proverb. A guardian angel is always welcome; likewise a fairy godmother, or make a self-portrait doll that expresses your aspirations. Making a simple doll has less to do with getting each part “right,” and more to do with your imaginative use of seemingly random bits and pieces. If you have some parts that you might like to use, bring them along; scraps of favorite fabrics, beads, buttons, sticks for arms and legs, anything goes. We will have samples along with bits and pieces on hand to help you assemble a three fair maidens.
